Red + Pink Valentine's Dance - February 11, 2011 Barre Town students donned Red and Pink and celebrated Valentine's Day with a Valentine's themed dance on Friday, February 11th. Hundreds of conversation heart decorations that students made decorated the lobby both for the dance and on the following Monday for Valentine's Day. As always, the 7th and 8th graders danced to the music that the DJ played, hung out with their friends and enjoyed concessions. On February 14th, students throughout the entire school wore Red and Pink not only for Valentine's, but also to support Breast Cancer awareness and acknowledge those who are fighting Heart Disease. >> click each thumbnail below to open a larger view of the image <<

Michael Jackson Thriller Dance, October 16, 2009 7th and 8th grade students came out in droves on October 16th to attend the 'Michael Jackson Thriller Dance' at Barre Town Middle and Elementary School. Many dressed as the 'Gloved One' or as zombies and most everyone was wore red, black and white. A thrilling time was had by all. Thank you to the many students who helped to plan, make posters and decorations, and set up for the dance. Thanks also to the many parents and teachers who were on hand to chaperon and man the concession booth. We can't do this with your great help! >> click each thumbnail below to open a larger view of the image << |
