A special "greetings and thank you for visiting our website" to all educators considering applying for jobs at our Barre Town School. We hope you will find information on this site that will help you determine if our school sparks your interest to the point of applying for employment.

The Barre Town community is proud of its school. We enjoy their wonderful support and, not surprisingly, the staff and students respond with fine teaching to a wonderful community of productive children.

We enjoy many fruits of success. Among them:

  • We average about 96% student attendance by making “being here” a focus.

  • The longevity of our teaching staff and administration leads to the building of significant teams.

  • Our students score in the middle and upper third of the top third of all Vermont schools, again by keeping our focus.

  • Our music and art program is wonderfully productive.

  • Our middle school principal, Tim Crowley, was selected to be Vermont’s Middle School Principal of the Year.

  • And lots more.

Wander through this site and enjoy a number of different lenses through which to see our school.
