Barre Town Supervisory District Policy Manual TITLE: Emergency/Disaster Plans CODE: EBCA School Emergency/Disaster Plan The administration is authorized to evacuate pupils and personnel from school to another shelter in the event of an emergency or disaster which prevents reentry to the school building within a reasonable period of time. Detailed procedures are outlined In the Barre Town Middle and Elementary School Emergency Operation Plan which shall be updated annually and on file in the offices of the Principal, Superintendent, Transportation Supervisor and school nurse. Additional copies of the evacuation procedures are to be filed with the Town police, Emergency Management Team and Fire Department. The School Emergency Operations Plan will be reviewed annually by the school administration with the Emergency Management Chairperson, Police and Fire Chiefs.
