TITLE: Buildings & Grounds Inspections CODE: EBA

Building Inspection

Standard

The Supervisor of Maintenance and Custodial Personnel will establish a system for having the school facilities checked. Those persons checking the building will keep a record of the inspection and submit this record to the supervisor.

Procedures

In order to protect the school facilities and contents:

An assigned person will check the school, contents, and playground daily in accordance with the inspection log form attached to this policy.
The assigned inspector will call his/her immediate supervisor and/or the police if problems are sighted and remain at the scene until the problem is resolved.
The inspector will use the time clock to keep a record of all inspections. The attached form will be printed on the back of the time clock punch card.
