Barre Town Supervisory District Policy Manual TITLE: School Properties Disposition CODE: DN The school board may declare district personal property as surplus and authorize its disposal when such property is no longer useful to the district, unsuitable for school use, too costly to repair, or in order to preserve storage space. The Superintendent will inform the school board when school district property that has a value over $1,000 is declared non-usable. The Superintendent will determine the best method of disposal and have authorization to dispose of these items. The disposal of real estate
